Inviron has built its reputation over more than 75 years.

Originally incorporated as William Steward in 1933, the company remained private up until 1995, when it was acquired by the European electrical giant ABB.  A blend of personal service and corporate professionalism ensued and has carried through to Inviron in its current form.

Inviron became an employee owned company, following a management buyout, in 2003 and remained one of the largest employee owned service providers in the UK until it was acquired by the Imtech Group in February 2011.
