Inviron,
the leading building services and facilities management provider, has
been awarded a third contract by building contractor Kier Northern, for
work at a college in the North East, following the successful
completion of two other projects in the region.
Inviron's
Building Systems, North East business, recently finished installing
mechanical and electrical (M&E) services at Cleadon Village School,
Sunderland, and at the Sandyford Building, Newcastle College,
Newcastle, in partnership with Kier Northern.
Inviron's
success on these projects led to Kier Northern awarding it a third
contract, to design and install the complete M&E services at the
three-storey St Peter's Sixth Form College, on St Peters Campus,
Sunderland, which is part of City of Sunderland College.
Alan Crozier, General Manager of Building Systems, North East, based in Washington,
commented: "Having completed the previous two projects with Kier
Northern, the award of another project with them in the educational
sector is a further demonstration of Inviron's position as a leading
contractor in the region, particularly in a sector in which we are
building up a excellent market position."
Clive
Watson, Project Manager, Kier Northern, said: "We have an excellent
working relationship with Inviron, which enhances and compliments our
overall commitment in delivering to our Client a successful quality
project."
Work
began on the site in October, with Inviron due to join the project in
March 2008. St Peter's Sixth Form College is scheduled to open to
students in September 2008.
