Inviron, the leading building services and facilities management provider, will ensure that over 100,000 people work and study in comfort, after its National Building Services division won a major mechanical and electrical maintenance contract with Suffolk County Council.
The contract covers over 550 local authority buildings in the southern and western areas of the county, including the county council's Ipswich headquarters, Endeavour House, as well as offices, schools, libraries, fire stations and residential care homes.
Inviron will carry out approximately 20,000 planned preventative maintenance jobs annually, along with reactive maintenance work and general project work. To service this contract, a number of new jobs will also be created in the area, including engineers and administration staff.
Stephen Southgate, Inviron's operations manager, commented: "I believe we won the contract due to the high levels of quality and performance that we have shown over the last five years whilst covering southern Suffolk.
"Inviron's high quality engineers, equipment, training and support ensure the rest simply just falls into place."
