Leading technical services provider, Inviron, has been awarded a prestigious contract by the General Medical Council (GMC), the independent regulator for doctors in the UK, to maintain the majority of its portfolio across the UK.
The contract will be led from Inviron's Manchester office and the team will carry out M&E and building fabric maintenance at two buildings in Manchester, and one each in Belfast, Edinburgh and London.
Richard Mahomed, operations manager, explains: "This is a significant contract with a highly respected organisation. The buildings in Manchester and London are both manned full-time, whilst the other sites will be covered by a team of mobile engineers, ensuring the contract is serviced effectively."
In 2009, Inviron completed the M&E fit-out at one of the GMC's Manchester offices, Hardman Street (pictured). Richard explains: "The excellent work that our installation team undertook on the initial fit-out has given us a very strong platform to work from, from both a client relationship and a systems maintenance perspective."
The General Medical Council protects, promotes and maintains the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine. It does this by controlling entry to the medical register and setting the standards for medical schools and postgraduate education and training. For more information visit: www.gmc-uk.org
