Leading facilities management and building services provider, Inviron, has been appointed by new client Baronsgate Estates as Technical Services Partner at the Beacon Shopping Centre in North Shields.

The Inviron team will implement a planned schedule to service the 186,000 sq ft shopping centre's HVAC systems, including managing the maintenance of fire alarms, sprinklers, dry risers, waste systems, lighting and CCTV, as well as the main feature of the centre, the impressive Clock Tower.

Neil Rich, Inviron's operations manager in the North East, says: "As Technical Services Partner at the Beacon Shopping Centre our team will ensure all systems and services are operating smoothly and at peak efficiency.

"We will also fully support the asset management programme Baronsgate Estates has in place, which aims to continually improve the shopping centre for all staff and customers."

The centre's 37 units include Boots, Dorothy Perkins, Wilkinson's, J D Sports and New Look.
