Inviron, the leading building services and facilities management
provider, has been awarded a three-year maintenance contract at a
British Army base in Suffolk.
The contract, which will be carried out by Inviron's National Building
Service, Ipswich branch, will include Planned Preventative Maintenance,
Reactive Maintenance and the provision of a Helpdesk Facility for two
AgustaWestland Service Buildings at Wattisham Airfield.
Bob Leech, In Service Support Manager, AgustaWestland, commented: "We
are delighted to award this three-year contract to Inviron, following a
competitive tender, which included all of the long term quality
requirements normally associated with work we undertake for the
Ministry of Defence.
"We look forward to working with Inviron's very professional team of support staff and engineers."
Ken Rogers, Inviron's General Manager, National Building Service, said:
"We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this contract.
"I feel that this was awarded due to AgustaWestland being impressed
with the attention to detail and the level of service, that Inviron
initially provided when called upon and will now continue to provide
within the contract."
Inviron, which manages, designs, installs and maintains a wide variety of environments, started on-site on 1st July.
