Inviron working wonders with BAA
Inviron, the leading building services and facilities management provider, has been commended for its continuous work at Gatwick Airport on behalf of BAA Retail Solutions.

Inviron's team, which has been based at Gatwick for over 40 years, has recently undertaken electrical installations at a variety of retail units both airside and landside, including in outlets used by the exclusive Harrods, high street giants Dixons and Marks & Spencers, as well as Costa Coffee and BAA Retail.

Peter Lamper, Retail Solution Manager at BAA, said: "Projects carried out within an airport environment need to be completed first time and on time, due to the many safety and security aspects that need to be considered. This is achieved by the close relationship and good communication between Inviron and ourselves.

"Inviron understand our drive as retailers. It has worked alongside the Gatwick retail team for many years and realise that being commercial is not just about bottom line cost, but value for money."

Over the years, Inviron has delivered many major, wide-ranging, mechanical and electrical projects throughout the airport. The latest projects reflect the continued success of the Inviron and BAA working relationship.

Michael Brown, Inviron's Gatwick Airport Manager added: "We are delighted that our relationship with BAA continues to go from strength to strength. The projects we undertake at Gatwick are varied and, as our staff are all security cleared, this enables us to work in all areas of the airport, both land and airside."

Through its work at Gatwick Airport, Inviron understands that the varied operation of an airport can require adaptability under extreme pressure, which is understood throughout the team, from the operatives on site to the management office.
