Inviron,
the leading building services and facilities management provider, has
begun work at the world famous Pinewood Studios to replace and
refurbish fire-damaged electrical services on the stage used to film
the latest James Bond movie, Casino Royale. In July, a blaze severely damaged the 007 Stage, which is one of the largest sound stages in the world. The stage had been transformed into a mini Venice, which is where the film is partly based. Ian Southgate, from Inviron's Ipswich Building Systems branch, is
project manager. He said: "The damage to the building was quite
extensive but we are confident that we will complete the job on time
and to budget." The electrical work began in December and is due to be completed in February 2007.
