
Inviron,
the leading building services and facilities management provider, has
begun work at two prestigious buildings, which form part of property
giant Land Securities' major new development in London's New Street
Square. Land
Securities has transformed New Street Square EC4, in the capital's
historic Midtown district, where the City meets the West End, with the
creation of a number of innovatively-designed buildings, which total
730,000sq ft of office space, retail outlets and cafes, as well as a
new landscaped central square. Inviron
has full operational responsibility for the maintenance of mechanical
and electrical (M&E) services at Buildings 4 and 6, thereby
expanding its London Service Porfolio and strengthening ties with Land
Securities. Building
6 is an elegant 17-storey development consisting of 195,000sq ft of
office space. Meanwhile Building 4 is the on-site Management Suite.

Weavers, Head of Engineering, Land Securities, commented: "Since April

contract is the latest in the partnership between Inviron and Land
Securities, which is the UK's leading property company and owns and
manages over 81 million sq ft of commercial property and provides
property services to more than 2,500 private and public sector clients.
Inviron
was appointed Land Securities' London Service Partner in early 2007.
This partnership comprises of the management of M&E services across
Land Securities' London Portfolio, which includes numerous commercial,
retail and office premises at developments such as the prestigious
Cardinal Place.
