Inviron has secured a new contract with one of the UK's largest newspaper publishers, Trinity Mirror plc, to maintain a number of regional offices and a major critical data centre.
The regional offices are located in and around Birmingham and Cardiff and include 53,000 sq ft, at the prestigious Fort Dunlop building (pictured) where titles including the Birmingham Mail, Sunday Mercury and the Metro are produced, and Media Wales' headquarters, where newspapers such as the Western Mail and South Wales Echo are created.
As technical services provider, Inviron's site-based teams will utilise a detailed planned preventative and reactive maintenance programme, encompassing a variety of mechanical, electrical and critical systems, including HVAC, lighting, standby generators, UPS and DC power, which will ensure the publisher's employees can work in comfort and the equipment in the 24/7 data centre operates at optimum efficiency at all times.
David Webb, general manager at Inviron, said: "We are very pleased to have won this new contract with Trinity Mirror, which produces some of the most well-known newspapers in the UK, and I'm confident that our teams will ensure both the offices and the critical data centre are maintained to the highest standards."
