Inviron has been appointed to undertake the mechanical and electrical fit out at No 3 Hardman Street, an office building in Manchester's business district, Spinningfields.
As part of the project Inviron working once again, with main contractor Overbury, will install new lighting, power, a fire alarm, heating, ventilation and a building management system.
In addition, a 500-tonne crane will be used to lift and position new plant, including an air handling unit and generator, onto the roof of the building. The crane lift is due to take place in early April.
The office space, which comprises of 35,000 sq ft over two floors, will be inhabited by international law firm Pinsent Masons, as it relocates to Spinningfields following the expansion of its Manchester business.
Eddie Marginson, General Manager, Inviron Building Systems North West, commented: "The logistics of the crane lift will lead to some road closures in the vicinity of the building, however, we have previous experience of this and therefore, can ensure that disruption to the public will be kept to a minimum."
