The Theatre Royal in Norwich's city centre underwent a major refurbishment and modernisation programme in 2007, bringing its facilities into the 21^st Century.   The refurbishment improved all areas, in particular the front of house by doubling the foyer size and adding a 60 metre outdoor balcony, new bars, kitchens, hospitality areas, toilets and disabled facilities.

Inviron carried out the mechanical and electrical services installation, including air treatment and ventilation systems which have improved audience comfort, along with a state-of-the-art sound enhancement system to upgrade the auditorium acoustics to concert hall standards.  Also as part of the refurbishment, hot and cold water services, thermal insulation, LV distribution and data transmission systems were installed by our team.
