The BFI (British Film Institute) is the lead body for film in the UK with the ambition to create a flourishing film environment in which innovation, opportunity and creativity can thrive. The BFI connects audiences to the widest choice of British and World cinema; preserves and restores the most significant film collection in the world for today and future generations; champions emerging and world class filmmakers in the UK; invests in creative, distinctive and entertaining work; promotes British film and talent to the world; and grows the next generation of filmmakers and audiences.
The BFI's venues include BFI Southbank (currently reporting record figures) and BFI IMAX (always one of the top three most commercially successful cinema screens in the world), the BFI National Archive at Berkhamsted and film storage facilities in Warwickshire.
As the BFI's technical services partner, Inviron maintain their diverse portfolio of buildings and venues. We ensure, through a meticulously planned preventative and reactive maintenance regime, that all systems work to the utmost efficiency and, in turn, that the numerous events and screenings run smoothly.
