Airbus has two main sites in the UK. Filton in Bristol covers around one square mile and has a mix of manufacturing facilities and office buildings; the design of every Airbus wing, including the A380, has taken place here. Filton, and its sister site in Broughton, North Wales, are the Airbus ‘Wing and Pylon' Centre of Excellence. Broughton is a predominantly manufacturing facility; the largest facility is over 83,500 square metres and houses the manufacturing and wing assembly for the A380 airliner.

Providing technical facilities management at these two sites, Inviron is responsible for the planned preventative and reactive maintenance programme of the mechanical and electrical systems, including airfield maintenance, high and low voltage services, compressed air and building and fabric infrastructure.
